    Jenny White Kuliesis, LICSW

    Psychotherapist – Therapist

Jenny White Kuliesis is a psychotherapist at Integrative Psychology, PC in Arlington, Massachusetts where she provides compassionate patient-guided therapy with a focus on supporting patients through major life transitions and making positive meaningful change in their lives. Jenny is also on the Admissions Committee at Simmons University Online School for Social Work.

Jenny studied Sociology and Spanish as an undergraduate at University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts and Spanish at Universidad de Oviedo in Oviedo, Spain. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Smith College, School for Social Work, in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Jenny’s clinical training included providing outpatient therapy to families, individuals, and groups at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Chelsea Health Care Center where she worked with a diverse range of patients. There she developed and fulfilled patient-informed treatment plans for both short and long-term therapies informed by CBT, psychodynamic and attachment theories. She further trained as part of an in-home intensive family stabilization team at The Guidance Center in Somerville, Massachusetts with the focus on supporting families in self-identified therapeutic goals, with the eventual goal to safely reunite children with their family.

As a medical social worker at Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, Jenny supported patients and their families with a broad spectrum of complex social, medical, and mental health issues. She maintained a constant focus on advocacy and patient empowerment while supporting patients in adjusting to new diagnoses, sometimes terminal, and by providing end of life care for patients and grief support for their families. There she developed a dedicated interest in supporting her patients through major life changes. Since then, Jenny’s clinical interests include exploring the universal experience of grief and how to make meaning after any kind of loss, EMDR Therapy which is an effective evidence-based treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression, and Internal Family Systems which offers non-judgmental counseling to help disrupt negative patterns, using her patient’s own strengths and self-knowledge to guide treatment. She has been trained in Reiki Levels I & II and uses elements of spirituality and mindfulness in her practice help to create a calm and healing environment for her patients.
